Sidenote, I have a crippling fear of the dentist, so I don't have one. I unfortunately developed, in the middle of the night a terrible toothache. I called as soon as the office was open praying that they could see me. Fortunately for me they had an opening pretty early. Everybody was so sweet and nurturing. Dr. Maria put almost all of my nerves to rest and got me situated with what I needed to take care of. I have found my new dentist I will go here without hesitation anytime. I just came back from my bi-annual dental cleaning and, as usual, I am very happy with the experience. Dr.Maria herself is wonderful! So professional and nice.

I don't know if Jamie still works there (I think that's her name) but she was great.

The office and examination rooms or sparklingly clean and some of the chairs massage. So lovely.

It's right on the 57 bus and parking is pretty readily available on street. The 86 bus also goes right down the street so those in Cambridge have no excuse!

They have an amazing referral system, too. I haven't paid for a cleaning in a while because I just keep referring new patients to them. I will continue to see her even after I move away from the city, I'm sure. read less

They warned me of a few precursors to cavities that they found on my x-rays, but said that good habits and regular cleanings would arrest their growth - they could have told me to fill them right there. The focus on preventative measures assures me that they are really working for me and my health rather than pushing unneeded services. read less

I get nervous at the dentist in general and she's very good at explaining what is being done and answering questions to ease my nerves. She's never pushy about having anything done that isn't necessary and even offers suggestions to help keep me out of the dentist office. Despite my hardest efforts, I've always had cavity prone teeth and she was the first to suggest a Ph balancing mouthwash, which has worked wonders. I started there because it took my insurance and was very close to where I worked at the time. I ended up leaving my previous job about two weeks after my first appointment with her. My experience with Dr. Vasilakis and the Dental Hygienists was so positive that I have chosen to stay a patient even though the office is no longer in a convenient place for me. They doctors and hygienists that work there are very skilled, professional, and make it clear that they care about the me and my teeth. read less
