I started there because it took my insurance and was very close to where I worked at the time. I ended up leaving my previous job about two weeks after my first appointment with her. My experience with Dr. Vasilakis and the Dental Hygienists was so positive that I have chosen to stay a patient even though the office is no longer in a convenient place for me. They doctors and hygienists that work there are very skilled, professional, and make it clear that they care about the me and my teeth. read less

I happened upon this office based on the yelp reviews and I am very grateful. Everyone from the receptionists up to Maria is friendly and professional.

I have been here three times now, two cleanings and a cavity. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Maria fully explains everything before proceeding. In addition, she is not pushy when it comes to additional services. She suggested that I get a mouth guard, but didn't hound me like a used car salesman. Also, when we discussed teeth whitening, she said I could use Crest white strips if I had more time and didn't want to spend as much.

I recently moved to Southie, but keep coming back here because this is a dentist you keep for as long as you stay in Boston. read less

I visited Dr. Vasilakis yesterday for the first time with my 3 year old and 5 year old.  I was very impressed with the office, it was so clean!  Both... read moreI visited Dr. Vasilakis yesterday for the first time with my 3 year old and 5 year old.  I was very impressed with the office, it was so clean!  Both Dr. Vasilakis and the hygienist were excellent and really impressed me with their interaction with the kids.  The kids never made a fuss at all and the hygienist did an excellent job keeping them occupied while she cleaned their teeth.  Dr. Vasilakis was very knowledgable.  We just moved here recently so I was very happy to find such a great dentist and dental office on my first try! read less

Dr. Maria and her staff are wonderful. She's really up to date with all the latest dental technology, does great work and has created a wonderful spa-like atmosphere for her practice!

Dr. Maria is great and extremely helpful and thorough. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient; and the oral hygienists are also very nice and professional. I used to hate going to the dentist's, even for cleanings, but now that I have found this office, I don't hesitate anymore. I had tooth pain recently, and they were able to squeeze me in that same week. Don't let the fact that the office is on the first floor of a two-family house fool you. The office is very clean and the dental equipment seems to be up to date (however, I don't know anything about dental equipment, so I may be wrong), but the examination rooms have massage chairs and are clean. The waiting room is excellent with water, a Keurig machine, all sorts of magazines, books for the kids, great interior decor. I appreciated... read moreI've been a patient at this practice for about a year now. Recently, one of my fillings had been causing me pain, and eventually fell out during flossing. I appreciated their swift response - they were able to see me the same day and one of their dentists on staff set me up with a new filling. It turns out that this filling was one they had done for me just six months prior. Since their work is guaranteed for a full year beyond the date of service, my new filling work was free of charge, which took some of the aggravation out of the whole experience. Thanks! 🙂 read less

She went above and beyond her call and was patient explaining exactly what is involved in each procedure and thoroughly walked me through each  of my options. The staff are very professional and friendly and the office is clean and welcoming. The waiting room even had toys and books for toddlers. Our little one was not very cooperative and Dr Vasilakis and Betty were very patient with her. By the end of the appt they were actually able to get fluoride varnish painted on her teeth.
