From the moment you step into her beautifully decorated waiting room, you can tell that her first priority is to make people feel welcome and comfortable. She even furnished her exam rooms with massaging chairs – and honestly, who wouldn’t enjoy a gentle massage during a teeth cleaning? It’s refreshing to have a dentist that clearly wants to make my experience more pleasant. I would also be remiss if I neglected to compliment her staff, who go out of their way to use the new gadgets and technology available to them to teach oral care rather than harping and criticizing patients, which further exemplifies the office’s emphasis on retaining patients by making them happy. As someone who fell into the habit of avoiding the dentist for years, I’m so glad to have been referred to Dr. Maria’s and to know that I can get any dental need met at an affordable cost in an office that I genuinely enjoy visiting. read less

I had a great experience here.  I have extremely sensitive teeth that required three gum grafting procedures.  Anyone with this issue knows that cleanings can be excruciating.  Dr. Maria was... read moreI had a great experience here.  I have extremely sensitive teeth that required three gum grafting procedures.  Anyone with this issue knows that cleanings can be excruciating.  Dr. Maria was the one who finally caught this issue and referred me to a periodontist to have it taken care of.  I continued to see Betty and Dr. Maria for my cleanings for years afterwards.  I can't speak highly enough of Betty - she was so very considerate of my sensitivity.  The last cleaning I had was painless - this was the first time in 5 years! I would highly recommend this practice.  On a practical note, parking is pretty easy, for a city dentist - and I really appreciated that they have early morning and evening appointments - you don't have to rush from or miss work. read less

The staff here are friendly and helpful, and it is always easy to schedule an appointment. Definitely helps that they are open early in the morning some days for those of us who are busy from 9-5. All you need to know is that Dr. Vasilakis takes really good care of her patients, as do the rest of her staff, and I would highly recommend this office to anybody. read less

Dr. Maria is great and extremely helpful and thorough. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and efficient; and the oral hygienists are also very nice and professional. I used to hate going to the dentist's, even for cleanings, but now that I have found this office, I don't hesitate anymore. I had tooth pain recently, and they were able to squeeze me in that same week. Don't let the fact that the office is on the first floor of a two-family house fool you. The office is very clean and the dental equipment seems to be up to date (however, I don't know anything about dental equipment, so I may be wrong), but the examination rooms have massage chairs and are clean. The waiting room is excellent with water, a Keurig machine, all sorts of magazines, books for the kids, great interior decor. Sidenote, I have a crippling fear of the dentist, so I don't have one. I unfortunately developed, in the middle of the night a terrible toothache. I called as soon as the office was open praying that they could see me. Fortunately for me they had an opening pretty early. Everybody was so sweet and nurturing. Dr. Maria put almost all of my nerves to rest and got me situated with what I needed to take care of. I have found my new dentist I will go here without hesitation anytime. I want to give them 10 stars! read less

I just came back from my bi-annual dental cleaning and, as usual, I am very happy with the experience. Cant even describe how wonderful the attitude of the office is. Not to mention exceptional care and explanation of procedures.

So, there's no way you will miss your appointment.

Then you arrive and they have a Keurig Coffee while you wait. Then you seat at the dentist chair, and the chair has a massaging system!!! I am not kidding. Also their X-rays are digitalized and you can see them on a computer screen. They also have this cool little laser that measures the thickness of the inside of your teeth, so you can catch a problem way before it shows up. This would give any place at least 5 stars, but then there's the people. Everyone here is incredibly nice and personable, big smiles and friendly people, yet very professional.

I've moved a lot in the last 10 years. So, I've had about 5 different dentists in my life, most of them excellent places, but I can safely say this is THE best dentist and dentist experience I've had so far. read less
